The Project


Ambrosia is the ideal family environment on the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. The Ambrosia estate boasts a beautiful and scenic wetland with Port Phillip Bay only minutes away. With schools, childcare, shopping centre and swim centre nearby, it has something for everyone.


Our Involvement


Verve successfully project managed over 100 planning conditions, major land acquisitions and significant infrastructure works including:

  • Hall Road signalised intersection and duplication roadworks

  • Major retarding basins and wetlands systems within the site

  • Sewer pump station, rising mains and a three kilometre outfall sewer.

The major challenge for this site was the existing ground conditions and the ability to weather proof the site.


The Result


Verve undertook a value management process during the construction tender process that formulated a solution that effectively achieved the objective.  During the winter of 2011 (effectively the drought breaking winter), Ambrosia was one of the few estates in the area that did not stop construction and continued to supply lots into the market.
