Verve Projects are fortunate enough to have been involved in some innovative urban greening projects over the last 20 years. We have recently reflected on the projects that trees have really thrived and other projects that trees have struggled. We have our theories which we are now trying to codify with the help of specialist consultants, councils, and clients. It is a complex area with many variables, but we believe it is all our duty to achieve better tree canopies in our streetscapes for our future generations. That’s why at Verve Projects we are now training all our staff in the basics of ‘street tree engineering’ by implementing a new approach to the design of streetscapes. We will share some of our ideas over the coming months. The following is a small snapshot of some of our great tree outcomes we have contributed to over the last 20 years.
