🚧 Works have Started! 🚧
After 3 years of planning, design and approvals, works have commenced on the Linear Reserve at Merrifield. The Reserve is 1.2 kilometres long and will in the future service a local community of over 7,000 dwellings. Complex hydraulic and geotechnical issues created a design response that substitutes a conventional constructed waterway response to a solution that seeks to replicate the natural conditions whilst improving amenities for the future community.
This first stage of the project is the installation of a 1.2km stretch of twin 2400mm diameter drainage.
Together with our forward-thinking client MAB/GPC, Hume City, Melbourne Water, and our fantastic design team comprising Afflux, WSP Golder and Realm Studious together with our experienced contractor Winslow Construction, we've developed an innovative, site-specific solution.
