The Project
Orana is set to become the biggest community in the South East of Melbourne, featuring over 4000+ homes, a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment precinct, arts and culture-based facilities, and more green space than Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Just 50 minutes drive from the Melbourne CBD, Orana has attained the maximum 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment sustainability accreditation with the Urban Development Institute of Australia. With 42 hectares of wetlands and open space, Orana will also encourage the re-establishment of wildlife in the area while connecting its residents to nature.
Our involvement
Verve have been instrumental in the development of Orana from inception and are proud to be working on a project that aligns so precisely with our motto; ‘great projects for good people’. From the land acquisition to the planning, design and construction phase, Verve have built upon the strong relationship with Balcon Group to deliver a master-planned community encompassing quality and innovation.
The result
Verve started work on Orana in 2010. In October 2020, stage 1 of the project was completed. We are continuing our work to make the Orana vision become reality.
