Merrifield Business Park will be Victoria’s largest masterplanned business and employment precinct, servicing local, national and international markets. At 415 hectares, it is almost twice the size of Melbourne’s CBD and sits on the doorstep of the Merrifield residential development. Strategically planned with functionality and sustainability in mind, it has direct links to key rail, road, port and airport infrastructure, fostering innovation and opportunity and providing an ideal location for businesses of all sizes.
Verve Projects has been involved with the Merrifield Business Park development since 2015. In 2017 MAB / GPC appointed Verve Projects to provide full Project Management and Civil Engineering services for the development with key contribution areas including:
Development of the overall stormwater and sewer servicing strategy for the site. We worked closely with City of Hume, Yarra Valley Water and Melbourne Water to fast-track key infrastructure works and achieve significant critical delivery deadlines for projects like Dulux (17ha), D’Orsonga (3ha), Steritech (1.5ha) and Kaufland (28ha) developments.
We also worked closely on major power infrastructure with Jemena and AusNet for the large power demands required on this development.
Merrifield Business park has already attracted several iconic national and international businesses including Ford, Dulux, Dorsogna and Steritech and there are many more to come.
