Merrifield is one of the fastest growing, mixed-use, masterplanned communities in Victoria. Five times the size of the Melbourne CBD with 25,000 total residents, 3 schools, a 165ha city centre and 30,000 projected jobs, Merrifield is set to become a true destination in Melbourne’s North.

Our Involvement

Verve Projects has been involved with the Merrifield project since 2004, with the initial infrastructure provisioning for the site. In 2015 MAB / GPC appointed Verve Projects to provide full Project Management and Civil Engineering services for the development with key contribution areas including:

• Improvement to the overall sewer servicing strategy for the site

• Value management of the overall drainage strategy

• Construction staging improvements.

The Result

Verve Projects have worked closely with the developers, Yarra Valley Water and construction contractors to formulate alternative strategies and solutions to achieve significant cost and time savings outcomes for the Merrifield project
